NOt sure what day post ovulation you are, but that sounds like a great number. The doubling is what is most important. In 48 hours it should double. good luck.

When I had my son my first beta at 11dp4dt was 34 and then after 2 days doubled to 114. My son is 2 1/2. Sounds like your numbers are strong!

Congrats to you!

Jenny,

I did my first beta on Thurs. At 8dp5dt I had a 78. I was concerned and also wanted to make sure the number was a good one. Everyone at my clinic said anything over a 50 is a really good number. The doubling is very important and unfortunately, I went for beta #2 today and rather than doubling, my hcg went to 75. It's strange because it didn't go up and barely went down in 48 hrs. So they want me to stay on progesterone (injections) and estrogen (patches) and go back for re-test tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm flipping out. They say it's still possible for things to be ok if the numbers start to go up. But if they go down tomorrow, it isn't looking good for me! I'm praying for a miracle!

I hope you have better success with your doubling!!! All the best to you!

Jenny-

It looks like you're moving along perfectly! Your numbers are going up and that's awesome. I was pregnant in Aug/Sept. '04 with twins but m/c both at 7 1/2 weeks. But at 4 weeks I didn't feel any morning sickness whatsoever and was so worried.... then it hit me like a ton of bricks about 5 1/2-6 weeks. Hang in there! It looks like you're on the perfect track! Congratulations!

Me... I'm a different story. As of yesterday my beta went down to 54, so it turns out to be chemical. I'm devastated!!! My Dr. wanted me to go in one more time this morning for a 4th beta, but I'm sure it'll be down again... then they'll keep having me come in to bring my beta levels all the way down before I can start my next FET cycle. I have to say this sucks and I feel so empty!!

Enjoy every minute of your pregnancy!! It's a wonderful thing and I hope to join you there again soon!

Jen
