How accurate are HSG's? I feel like the one I got might have been tainted. From what I've read it should take about 45 minutes and mine was a lot shorter. Also the lady had a hard time getting the piece in and couldn't get it in that far. Would this effect my results?
It showed I had a blocked left tube and the right one was inconclusive.
I feel like she didn't allow enough time for it to go through and maybe since she couldn't get the it all the way up me the dye didn't have a chance to go through. Is this just wishful thinking or could my results have been wrong.
I've had 2 laparoscopy's the first one (jan 08) having partial hydrospix... on both tubes but it was fixed and both tubes were fine. That wasnt the reason for the surgery i had an ovarian cyst but they found 2 paratubal cysts while they were there and partical hydrosx.....
The 2nd lap was done Oct 08, again an ovarian cyst but no hydrospix was found however my left tube was stuck to my left ovary and my right tube was clubbed.
We're getting ready for IVF, i start the gonal shots tomorrow and I'm really worried this will hurt my chances of it working!!!
