Pid Help

i will admit that i am new to this site and the lingo....i have read thru posts and only understand things that havent been abbreviated. haha. i am 25 and had severe PID in 2007. I had gone for an annual pap on a tuesday, nurse told me that my right ovary was severely enlarged...i was not in any pain but she wanted be to come back on friday to have an ultrasound to make sure that it wasnt a tumor (my mom is a 2x cancer SURVIVOR).... thursday i end up in the ER.....screaming and flailing....Horrible abdominal pain, funky below-the-belt smell, fever, the whole shebang....Dr's run all sorts of tests...at one point they thought i had an autoimmune disease, one Dr just though i should go #2....3days later i am told that i am suffering from a severe case of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease....i had an abscess on my ovary and it burst.....they wanted to do a partial hysterectomy on me then and there (this was 2 weeks after i turned 23 and i only have one child) i refused to let them bc i planned on having more kids in the future......was told that the surg would be inevitable soon enough, also that i could likely become infertile bc of this ordeal.....i spent a week in the hospital, pain meds and antibiotics..... fastforward to now.....i have tried and tried to get pg, but with no success....does anyone know the %'s behind the infertility and PID's?
