Things are looking good!!! (preg mentd)

Hi Everyone,

Well so far things are looking pretty positive! My hcg levels yesterday were 373 (about 16 dpo) which the dr said was high enough not to warrant a second blood test on Wednesday to see if my levels doubled. But he does still want to do a tv ultrasound next week to make sure that its in my uterus and not in my tube. My husband and I are keeping our fingers crossed!

CONGRATS HUN*!!!!! Those number are wonderful*!!! I sure hope that everything look good next week, but don't be too worried if all they see is a sac at that time. I am hoping and praying that little babykins is snug as a bug in your uterus*!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for the well wishes! I just had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday and it showed a nice gestational sac and yolk sac in the uterus My RE would like me to come back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound so that he can see the fetus more clearly (since I was exactly 5 weeks) and also a heartbeat. But my hcg levels on Monday were 7,289 so things are still looking really good! I just can't seem to stop smiling ever since finding out!

Luv, I will definitely keep in touch! I may start posting on the pregnancy boards soon if my next ultrasound turns out okay

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick update. I had another tv/us last week (7 weeks) and it showed the heartbeat! It was so incredible to see! So I am officially now with my ob/gyn, rather than with my RE Hopefully the next 4 weeks will go smoothly and I can begin to breathe a little easier!

Awesome News Hydrogal!

Yay!!! Establishing care with an OB/GYN is the BEST part of going through infertility. It means that you have a viable, healthy, beautiful living being inside of you that needs care from a BABY doctor and not a "GET ME PREGNANT" doctor....lol.

I am so happy for you hydrogal, I cannot stop smiling. Please continue to keep us updated on this board (where I look mostly for your posts) It's hard for me to manuver around the other boards here unless you provide me the link

As for me: We just celebrated Caleb's first birthday. My husband and I hosted a brunch at a little well known cafe back in my homestate with all our sibilings and parents. Although the party itself was blast, it was bittersweet losing my "baby" and gaining a toddler. Even though I have an older child who is 6 (gasp!) and enjoy doing all "big" boy things with him like soccer, cheering him on his swim team...etc...I still miss cuddling with him in the rocking chair and feeding him a bottle. Time goes too super fast. Enjoy every single minute of pregnancy, infanthood and beyond.
