Anyone have a fallopian tube blocked with scar tissue that is now unblocked? What did you do to unblock it?

I ask some questions sometimes and have 100 people look at it but not person not answer it. So if anyone has any experience please explain it.

I had a partially blocked left tube and fully blocked right tube, and they are now both open with free dye spill (I still have a small distillate hydro on the left).

My tubes reopened after some extensive antibiotic tx with Dr Toth in NYC for bacteria which was causing the damage. The full 10 day treatment was in April 2007, followed by 3 months of oral antibiotics, and my tubes were open per an Oct 2007 HSG test!

Dr Toth says that tubes can heal and the villi (little hairs on the inside of the tubes that move the egg along) can regenerate if even a small patch is still left. However, the villi can't grow over interior scarring, so if there's alot of scarring, he recommends moving to IVF after antibiotic treatment fully clears the infection that caused the scarring. My scarring wasn't too bad, so we're TTC naturally now.

Hello*!!! sorry I am late to respond, but I wanted to let you know that between my 1st and 4th HSGH I have alllll different reports. I was told by 3 different DR's that sometimes they can reopen with doing nothing at all or they can remain blocked for no reason at all....uuuggghhh very frustrating*!!!


I have heard pretty good things about DR Toth, but he is cutting edge and some DR's do not believe in his TX technique. Personally I would be willing to try it out, but right now I don't have the money.
