    Exclamation Who's out there???

Hello*!!! I was just wonder who is out there??? Lets do a meet and greet posting...How does that sound???

My name is Valerie....Ken and I have been married for 1 year on SUN...(wowser). We started ttc last Aug. I was first dx'd with tubal issues way back in 1998 when I was ttc with my EX. I was told my left tube looked great, but my right tube was partially blocked. In Jan of the following year I had my first pg...ectopic...right tube. I was treated with methotrexate, but needed emergency surgery because the pain was getting bad...They got to my tube before it burst and were able to save and "scrape" it clean. I did go onto have another ectopic, but it cleared on it's own (same tube). In 2002 I had another HSG and it showed that both tubes were wide open....yeah*!!!! Well I then went through a divorce in 2005...so no more TTC for me for a bit.
Moving ahead....This year I went for a HSG to check the conditions of my tubes...at that time they told me my right tube was completely blocked and my left was open....they were trying to see if they could open it up by superblasting me or something because I was crying so hard and my eyes started rolling back...they had to STOP. My RE then suggested that we do yet another (my 4th) under sedation to verify what the heck is going on. After I woke up I was told that my right tube is OPEN and my left is blocked.....uuuggghhh I can't even keep up...LOL He also said that the dye was slow to move on the right side...so that means low functioning...GREAT*!!! I know that IVF is our best option but we just cannot pay that kind of money...and as of right now we are not really ttc...financial and house issues have come up and just not right to continue with TX...but in the same respect we are not preventing either.

So that is my basic story on my tubes....hahaha now do you see why I call them lazy....

    Who's next???

    Hi!

My husband and I have been trying for a little more than 1.5 years. Last July we found out that my right tube was a hydro. In December I went to see an RE who recommended a lap surgery to either repair it or take it out. After the surgery he said that there were no adhesions anywhere in my pelvis, and that my right tube was closed because the end of it had folded over onto itself (I had ovarian/appendectomy surgery when I was 12 and my RE assumes that my tube was accidently damaged at that time). So he simply opened up the tube (salpingostomy) in January and we've been trying again since March without any success. This is now my 4th month on 100mg of Clomid. Our next step it IUI.

    My Mood
    Tired
Hello. I am 34(will be 35 next month) and DH is 37. My DH and I have been TTC#1 for 2 years with no sucess.
After a year of TTC went to see a RE. I had HSG, and was told that I have one completly blocked tube and one open tube. I was devestated and still have no idea, how this happened. RE said that my ovaries look good and suggested IUI. I did a combo cycle of clomid/injectables, but all follicles were in the blocked tube ovary, so IUI was cancelled. I did another cycle with Follistim injections only and again all follicles were on the blocked ovary. So RE told us our best chance would be to do IVF. I recently had a consult with a new RE and as soon as he saw my HSG x-rays, he told me that both my tubes are blocked. He said the tube that we thought is open is actually not open. The dye from the HSG flows all the way up to the end of the tube, but there is no indication of the the dye spilling out. He said that it is blocked at the distal end and if it was open then I should be able to see the dye flowing out in the cavity. Either way I have to do IVF no matter what. I am just mad that we had to pay the old RE for all that money($ 2500.00) for ultrasound monitorings and all the medications and injections, which was all paid out of pocket for nothing. Right now, DH and I have made the decision to do IVF. My current RE wants me to have all kinds of pre-IVF testings (bloodwork, hysteroscopy, sperm analysis and OSHA testings) which has to be done before starting IVF). I am hoping to pass the pre-IVF testings and finally start IVF.

    Hi everyone,

My name is Kelly and I am 26. I have been with my partner for 11 years, although not married yet. We have been trying to concieve for 8 years, I only have one fallopian tube which is blocked, having had the other removed when i was seventeen. I am writing this to give you all a little hope. We have just completed our second course of IVF and low and behold we had a BFP last Thursday, much to our surprise and joy. It can happen even when all the odds are stacked against us. I have my fingers crossed for you all, good luck and god bless.

    Love Kelly
