ER today

Hello just a quick ? I am in Korea (husband is in the Army) and we are doing IVF while we are here. Well I have a hydro. tube and RE advised to not remove it. Well RE in the states said I needed to but insurance would not cover it while we are here. So we went ahead without removing it b/c it is only $3000 here inc. medication and we cannot afford IVF at home at this time so we figured why not give it a try while we are here. Well here in Korea they will transfer back 4 if I wish. Well I am worried that we will end up pregnant with 3 or 4. But I am also worried if I transfer less I will end up with a BFN. I know this can happen transferring 4 as well. My DH is 26 I am 25. Just curious to how many you ladies would transfer if your tube had not been removed. Also ER is today so I have to make a decision soon! Sorry I rambled a bit just nervous about tomorrow (tonight you US ladies time). Any fast replies are really appreciated.

I would wait to find out how many embryos you will have. How long will you be in Korea? Could you freeze any and do a FET if necessary?

I had a hydro tube when we did IVF, and they implanted two embryos. Both took (I have twins). I'm not sure if your RE looks for this, but through the entire process I questioned whether they saw fluid in my uterus when they did ultrasounds. They never saw any. Whether or not they see fluid in your uterus may help factor your decision.

Talk to your RE and see what he suggests. I know the MOST my RE would put in was 3, and that was a rare circumstance. Good luck, and keep us updated.

Just got back from ER and they retrieved 18 eggs 12 were mature and 6 were a little immature but he thinks they will fertilize by tomorrow. My RE suggests putting back 3-4 I am not sure about him seeing fluid in my uterus but I go for ET on Thursday and will ask then. Thanks for your fast response and the tip on the fluid in my uterus. I will keep you posted.
