    does IF attract pregnant women??

wut the crap?! i swear being infertile means everyone you know or meet is pregnant!!! i had 2 find a new girl 2 do my hair and (of course) she's preggo (newly preggo at that) so i got 2 hear all abt her pregnancy......for 3 hours!!! Really? REALLY?!?!
and i swear it mustve been new mommy day at that salon!!! just about every woman in there was either pregnant or just had a baby......like it was new mommy day and i didn't see the banner. Ugh!

To top it all off, the preggo found my first grey hair!!!!

BUT, on the bright side.....my hair looks fabulous!!

Thanks 4 letting me vent ladies....i feel much better now. Not abt the grey hair, but whatever, its colored now! heh heh heh

So sorry you had to experience that...and for three hours! It isn't easy and I think our "pregnant woman radar" is much more sensitive when we are going through IF. Seriously, before I was diagnosed I barely noticed when someone was pregnant! It stinks

I'm glad your hair looks fabulous, though!

That's what hurts the most about infertility for me... I never really noticed pregnant women until I wanted to be a pregnant woman. Now everywhere I look, women are popping up (literally) pregnant... and with such ease! It's heartbreaking, isn't it? And, soon after I feel the heart break, I turn into a crazy woman.

I'm with you angelbelle. I find out yet ANOTHER one of my friends is pregnant and instantly go into crazy women mode.

Extended my crazy to a random blogger I follow yesterday. She doesn't even write about anything remotely baby centric (writing blog) but announced her pregnancy with her 1st child. So I announced out loud to my husband, "Right, unsubscribing from her, can't be dealing with another pregnant women". He only replied with one word "Harsh".

I don't blame you! I wouldn't want to be receiving (unpredictable) updates from my favorite blog if they could potentially and at any given moment have a big ol' pregnant belly photo in today's post. Ugh.

    ((hugs))

Oh, it's so devastating! On a daily basis, too! Certain things have gotten easier, but overall, I'm just as upset all the time as I was the day I found out I had POF.

ancksunamun: no matter how understanding and supportive someone is, they just don't understand like the ones who have lived through infertility. What is considered 'harsh' to someone else, is just this inevitable feeling that can't be suppressed to us. I have people in my life who don't have a clue why certain things upset me regarding fertility and pregnancy. "Why do you care if she's having a baby shower?!" or "Why do you care if she's having her 5th kid on the first try?!" or "It's her life, not yours! Why do you care?!"
