How can I be happy?

So my friend we will call her Jill told me today she is 5 weeks pregnant. Now she is 25 has two kids with her ex husband and two kids with random guys none of which she has custody of. I told her about what my DH and I are going through and how we are in the midst of our 2ww.

She tells me this and she says "aren't you happy for me" All the while I'm thinking.. how could this happen??

Rant away. It's hard enough to be happy for others who are pregnant, let alone someone like the friend you describe. Why have another child if you don't take care of the ones you already have??

You wouldn't believe it! I found out she had 2 abortions she said "im not going to kill this one" -falls on floor- I don't think I can talk to her anymore.

It breaks my heart to even look at her!

I may never fully understand why some people have such an easy time getting pg and why people who really want children go without! All we can do is pray that she will grow up and one day appreciate the precious gifts she has been given.

Oh I know. I'm a labor and delivery nurse, so I get to see the skankiest people on the planet and the crackwhores come in and deliver, and then have their babies taken away from them, many of them going through withdrawal. It's just not fair....it gets me so mad!!

I hear ya! I have a few nieces that have several kids before they turned 21. Its sick and it pisses me off. Its not fair and it makes me want to vomit. One has a special needs child and she selfishly has 2 more that she can't take care of. Her and her dh had to move in wih her mother cause they can't pay the bills. How they going to do it with 3 kids under 3? Stupid people!

I am right there with all of you... I work in law enforcement and deal with pregnant inmates on a very regular basis! Ugh... pisses me off!!! They either dont have some of their kids OR they are totally on welfare and still popping the babies out!
