progesterone pill withdraw test, spotting after finishing pills

    Hi,
after birth of my daughter and weaning her off completely in May my period haven't returned yet. Went to doctor and she put me on Progesterone 200mg for 14 days to induce my period. The day after I stopped progesterone I saw brownish pinkish like discharge on my panties. It has been second day like that. No flow, no red, just like spotting. I cramped at the beginning. Should I consider it period? Was the progesterone test successful then?

    please share

    thank you
