    Low dose aspirin and FET

    (pg. mentioned below)
I'm just at the beginning of our last ditch effort FET cycle and I'm struggling with whether or not to take baby aspirin.

Our last cycle (in April 2012) I miscarried at 5.5 weeks and also hemorrhaged very badly. It stinks because everything looked amazing up until the sudden miscarriage. Before we cycled again my RE wanted us to meet with my hematologist.

First: our RE no longer uses a baby aspirin protocal
Second: I did use baby aspirin with my last cycle because my perinatologist recommended it, overriding my RE. This is because our DD was born at 35w with IUGR that had no concrete explanation AND that I tested positive for Protein S(a clotting disorder) while pregnant.

My hematologist says it's my decision to use aspirin therapy and that it's a double edged sword. It "may" help with implantation, but because it stays in your system for so long, if something does go wrong I could hemorrhage again too, even if I stopped the aspirin at transfer.

I'm stumped. I want to give us the best chance possible at this cycle, but I'm scared to go through another bleeding episode like before. My RE doesn't seem to think it makes much of a difference....he used to, but says new research shows differently. Does anyone else here cycle with aspirin? Or have done so in the past and don't now?

I cycled without aspirin for my fresh cycle, which was a chemical. My RE had me to switch to using aspirin for the FET, and that worked. My OB will not let me discontinue the aspirin - though I have no actual clotting disorder, I could develop one at any time damaging myself or the baby.

Personally I would use the baby aspirin. My OB said I am at a much lower risk of hemorrhage than I am of clots.
