I'm CD3 (and completed my mc yesterday), near a week behind you.

I see in your sig that you are using Baby Aspirin, Fragmin and Prednisone. I'm on Baby Aspirin and Folate now and my doc suggests that in October I use Prednisone and ... something else (I have to look at my notes). How long have you been on Prednisone? What can you say about it?

!!Sending baby dust and prayers your way!!

Hi Sharon sorry to hear about your loss (hugs) I dont start steriods till i get my bfp it will either be prednisone or prednislone. I have used the apsprin and fragmin before and used them for 8 pregnancys. So praying the steriods help,

Are you to use the steriods when you are ttc or as soon as you get a bfp ?
I am told to use them only when i get my bfp. Praying for us both

I have this nasty habit of coming home from a pregnancy-loss/next-step appt and misplacing my notes. I don't have the heart to look for them yet, but I'll be sure to find them within a week or two. I thought he prescribed my Pred pre-BFP. I will be sure to check! I'm still a little cheese brained.

Get offline and go baby dance!!!! ;-)

Sparkle,

OK, my notes were on the dining room table. (I've been eating in the kitchen which is smaller and the world feels more manageable.)

Plan would be Prednisone for a treatment cycle, starting 2 days post ovulation: 10mg AM, 5 mg PM. (Shots of 17OHP with BFP...)

Most of our six years we've BD'd every other day. Every once in a while we do BD every day or twice a day just to change things up. The past six months or so we did the day and a half schedule (AM, PM, skip, AM, PM) - again, the change was welcome. TMI: We don't normally BD in the AM so it was something new and ... challenging. ;-)

Welcome to your 2ww! Wishing you a BFP!!

Hi hun i am told to start the steriods only when i get bfp but i have read loads of aldies taking it around ovulation and i asked my gyno about this and he said it can stop you from getting bfp he done a trial he said and the ones on the steriods never conceived and the month off it they did. So i dont know what to do i have to go by his rules (Huff)

Thats a lot of baby making going on there ttc years to much can become stressing and your body can stop you from getting pregnant when your ttc to hard. If you bed one day miss a day then do the following day the sperm is suppose to be much stronger and there will be more sperms because of the day break. They say if you bed everyday then the sperm gets weaker i do a day miss day well we bed at night time but i i baby danced two days this week on the trot i am naughty girl never stuck to my word lol but the whole ttc is stressing anyway and with our mmc background its even more stressing so maybe not ttc to much and do every other day hun XXX

Oo, that's scary about the Predn study. I'll take a look and ask my doc.

I'd also heard 24 hours was discouraged. We're in the 48 hours camp but we change it up every one in a while. For us BD'ing every 36 hours was something new to try and refreshing. I looked at my BFP charts for which I have BD info. BD to BD was: over 48 hours for one, 48 hours for one and 24 hours apart for two cycles. At this stage in the journey, the most important aspect for us is to enjoy. If it sacrifices one cycle but we are in better mental health, it's worth it.

Do you have difficult geting pg or not? What's been the common BD pattern for your pg cycles?

Hi Hun yes ask your doctor about the pred study and see what he says i would like to hear his verdict lol As for ttc i have been pregnant 15 times and 3 times this year so i guess i dont have no problems getting pregnant my doctor calls me a egg machine because he has never heard of any of his patients who has ovulated straight after a mmc i do going by blood tests. I had a chemical pg in march and a chemical pg the month after in april so 2bfps one month after another. I then got pg in the may 3bfps 3mths on the trot which was a viable pregnancy seen heart beat twice on scans and baby moving around stretching his arm up then back down again. My next scan confirmed mmc no heart beat at 11wk scan 10wks + a few days no heart beat. cyto genetic all normal its just confusing whats doing this XXX

Although my pgs are far in between, my body also doesn't miss a beat to cycle again. Sometimes I am excited - look it works!, but then I remember it hasn't "worked". How can it be so amazing at recovering and yet ... grr.

Oooo, can I brag? So sad. But really, my mom and sister brag about there perfect pgs and labor and delivery. I've had pretty perfect mcs, if I do say so myself!!!

I'm going to go post this over on the mc board...

It is confusing ... and frustrating. It's hard to know when to "do" something and when to stay the course. Clearly you are in a place of "doing" and I really, really, really pray this is it for you!!!! Sticky BFP!!! H&H 9 mos!
