question

Hi everyone

I have a question and i hope someone can answer this question for me, first i will tell you a little about me. I have been pg 8 times all ended in m/c. The first 6 were really early if i didn't take a pg test i wouldn't know i was pg. Number 7 was at 10 weeks and the last one was on Mar 4/05 and i was 17.5 weeks. When i lost our DS the dr's told me i have an incomplete cervix and the next time i get pg i will need a stitch. But here is where i have a problems first off i have a hard time getting pg in the first place, we have been trying since my m/c but we had been going through a very stressful time for a year after the m/c but that is all said and done. So i was wondering if any one had any ideas to help me get pg faster? But here is the biggest problem since the last couple of months i have had nothing but problems with my AF it is either 10-14 later or early and i don't know why it is doing that. After my m/c my cycle was right on time and i no problems with it until now and i have never had this before. Has anyone had this happen to them before and what did you do to fix the problem?

I hope someone can help answer these questions for me and thank you for your help

Hi!!
First...I am soooo very sorry that after all this, you lost your ds to ic! I'm glad to hear that you have the strength to keep trying, as scary as I know it is...(((hug)))

And yes....my cycles were really screwed up after I had ds#1 (after 7 m/c's). My hormones were REALLY out of whack and Dr's didn't seem to want to help me get them back in order. I was frustrated looking for help! I finally found a book called 'The Pregnancy Year' by Susan Weed. It describes before during and after a pg, and how to help things naturally. There are several different herbal options you can do that may help. Red Clover helped me in the exact way I needed...BUT everyone is different. If you have any odd symptoms you need to first read about the different things you can take and find the best thing for you. For me, Red Clover got everything in my body working correctly again....and just when we were going to go for our last attempts at IUI for another child...I got pg naturally (my 2nd natural pg in 10 years!)...one month after taking the herb! I'm not saying it was a cure all...or that it would work for you because everyone is different...but I will say you should read up on it and a few other herbs, and maybe talk to a naturalist or someone at a PRIVATELY owned health store (not GNC). Other herbs to check ....I just went looking for my book and I can't find it!! I know Red Raspberry, Ginsing, and others help in different ways....I read them all and for me Red Clover seemed perfect because it was described as an herb that would 'balance the system'.

I am so sorry....I hope that you can get to a place where you can try again soon!!!

Hi reallylongtime

I'm really sorry to hear about all the things you've had to go through and losing your DS through i/c after all that.

It looks like Smiley has answered your question. I'm a recurrent m/c'er like yourself. I've found that every so many years my body goes totally off course and my hormones get totally messed up. I'm on my second spate of not being able to get pg in all this when usually I get pg really easily. I guess the body can only take so much before it goes crazy. I think I might try and track down that book as well. I get awful PMT - not just the usual sore BBs and bloating etc but horrific mood changes and depression and muscle problems. I take Agnus Castus Vitex (amongst other things) - that's great for getting your cycle regular. I totally recommend it.

Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Gemma
