Yesterday at 5dp5dt I POAS, and it was negative. I wouldn't have tested so early except that in another post of mine, someone replied and said that it's not too soon to test at this point. So I did, and now I'm depressed.
Is this the end? Or is it too soon to know?
This cycle has been miserable because of OHSS, but over the weekend I started to feel better--I even lost about an inch of the 4 inches I gained in my waist. So I wonder if feeling better is a sign that I'm not pregnant.
But yesterday mid-morning I found that I was hurting more than I was on Saturday and Sunday, and I had some moderate pain last night. And last night and this morning I feel that familiar "I don't think I can eat anything" feeling that I've had for most of the last two weeks.
What do you think?

I think this is too soon to tell. Infact if you did get a positive PG test I would be worried how many children you have in there. 10dpo is really early!
I wouldn't count yourself out yet! After all some women don't get a positive HPT until after beta.
Good luck!

Don't let the evil peesticks get you.
When I did my transfer, I tested negative 10 days after 3 day transfer. I tested negative the day of my positive beta.
So no worries yet. It is WAY too soon. I know the coming days will crawl by, but just hang in there and wait a little longer.
Fingers crossed so tightly for you. Good luck!!!

I think it is too soon. I POAS at 7dp5dt with Nate and it was a BFN, Beta 3 days later was 112, so don't give up!

I already posted a response on the IVF board, but wanted to reiterate that it does not mean the end. I tested one day before my scheduled beta with my living chid~the HPT was negative and I was crushed. The next day, my beta came back positve and in the higher end of normal for a singleton pg. Each sub. beta rose properly and sure enough, I was pg.
Hang in there. HPT/Evil Pee sticks aren't as reliable as people think. I hope yours is wrong.
Good luck.April

Thanks, ladies, for the encouragement. I started spotting yesterday, though, and it's continued through today, so I feel lousy about this cycle. I know I need to relax a little--RE's office said bleeding isn't bad (they're sure that it's not my period coming early)--but I'm afraid there's a BFN right around the corner.
But I'm in pajamas and about to curl up on the couch, so maybe a little extra rest will be just the trick to make me feel better.
I'll post my beta results on Friday. Any luck, good wishes, or prayers are appreciated.
