Hi Everyone,
We are going to be having our baby shower in June and we are wracking our brains on the perfect gift for our surrogate. Just wondered if any of you could point us in the right direction or tell me as a surrogate what you would consider a great gift.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Oh my gosh - how amazing of you to be thinking about getting a gift for your surrogate at YOUR baby shower!! You two are wonderful!!!!!!!
I wish I had some great suggestions for you, or personal experience. Let me think on it and get back to you.
Your little man is going to be here in no time!!!!!!

I think a nice little bracelet, or something that she can wear. I think there was a surrogate on here who's IP's parents got her a necklace. I think its AWESOME that you guys are not only having her at your shower, but also getting her a gift.

I am not a surrogate but I was recently given a great gift (for volunteering my time). It's a heart necklace from Brighton and on the back it's reads "all you need is love".

My IPs gave me lots of jewelry, (keepsake jewelry) A charm bracelet with lots of baby charms on it, etc. It was very sweet and thoughtful but my IF's mother from my last journey got me a hand embroidered hanky that she had also only had for herself, her daughter and DIL (IM) and I tell ya, that meant the most for some reason.

Both set's of my IF's have given me a necklace. My last and current IF's gave me a rather expensive pearl one, that make's me nervous to wear anytime other than a special occasion. My 1st IF's gave me a white gold heart charm necklace w/their DD's birthstone in it as well as a diamond. I was told that "I" was the diamond next to their DD because of how precious that felt I was, as was the gift I gave them. I have taken it off once (due to an xray) only in the last 3yrs!
