I too have heard of the Doodys being very strict about which patients they will continue to treat. And yes, rumor has it that it's all because of their stats. But on another, more personal note, I've worked on some volunteer projects with Dr Kathy and she is a very nice person with a big heart. She is wired pretty tight though. Dr Nackley is a very sweet, smart and gentle doctor. We loved her.
We made the decision to go to another physician for our FET. Cost was what made us consider it and then a series of events convinced us to consult with Dr Le in Irving. We have 5 personal friends that have had success with Dr Le over the last 3 years. One set of triplets, one set of twins, two singles, one which was GS. (one sister carried for another sister). All of these have been fresh cycles except for the triplets. They were actually FET. Dr Le doesn't charge as much as most DFW physicians. He will tell you it's because he wants to help families grow and if you have frozen embies, then he wants you to be able to have more children should you desire, without going broke.
We tried last summer, but it was not successful. However, we had two very stressful situations arise right in the middle of it all. I believe that those situations played a huge part in the failure.
