I noticed about a week ago after going to the bathroom that I was bleeding a little, I got excited thinking this was a bloody show...and me being due in two-three weeks I am more than ready to be jumping at false hope. Turns out it was from my bowel movement. No blood on my pantie liner at all, just when I wipe. (sorry for the intimate details of my potty breaks..)
Its really bright red, but not painful or uncomfortable at all- so its beens shocking that its still happening a week later. Any of you experience this or have an idea of what it could be? My Douala says to call the doc- but I am not sure I need to as its not been bothering me, physically. I just have noticed it more lately. Your thoughts would help a bunch. I didn't experience this at all with my last pregnancy, or in general when Im not prego. Michelle 1X TS EDD 04/06/05

It sounds like a side eggect of hemerhoids (I know it's spelled wrong) to me.
I've dealt with bright red blood from bowel movements off & on the entire pregnancy. It's especially bad when I'm constipated pretty bad, too. It's never really been a concern - especially since it's not vaginal. I found that Tuck's pads are awesome - they help me feel better (some swelling & itching), and they help with clean up. |

I think Crissy is right. Sounds like a bleeding hemi.
Okay, this is going to be gross, but did you feel down/back there? Do you feel anything protruding out? If not, feel inside and see if you feel a hard buldge.I'm not sure if this is something to worry about or not. I get them with all of my pregnancies and just put Prep. H ointment on them. That helps to keep the pain away and the swelling gone. I would, however, let your OB know about this. It may be something to keep an eye on during delivery, especially since it's been bleed for over a week now. Good luck, sweetie! Hugs, ![]() Sirell
