Latest positive HPT's ?

Okay Ladies,
I'm losing my mind now. I'm 10 days post fresh transfer and still getting neg. on the HPT's. I even tried 2 different brands today. UGH. So I need some of you to tell me any stories of late HPT results (positive). I'm losing hope each day that passes. I have my beta on Thursday. The embies were transferred on day 2 post retrieval.

Try to hang in there. I have heard of girls having negative HPTs and then going in to have a positive beta! My last transfer failed, and I'm currently in the 2ww. I'm on day 6 of a blast embie and nothing for me too.

Positive thoughts for you and its not over till the Beta-lady says it is.

If I am remembering correctly, with her own children, even the docs were telling her she wasn't preg when in fact she was.
I don't know how the whole thing goes so maybe she will read this and correct me or finish it for me...either way, it is NOT over uintil the beta says so. And there are pleanty of women out there that just happen to produce very low amounts of hcg

Yes, I can tell you a story!!! SM has always been a low HCG producer. She has 2 healthy boys... age 2 and age 1... very close in age. When she was pregnant with the 2nd she felt "pregnant" so she did HPT and it was negative. She waited a while and did another HPT and it was negative. Still feeling slight symptoms of pregnancy as she did with her first she went to her OB who did a HPT in the office and it was negative. SM insisted she HAD to be pregnant. They told her to come back later. She came back later and I don't know if they did an HPT or a blood test at this point, but she was PREGNANT all along!!!!

Also to make things even WIERDER, when she got pregnant for us her 1st Beta was 228 which seemed high, and then the 2nd Beta was 5,000. And there was just 1 baby in there when they did the ultrasound!!

HPT's and Betas... don't trust them. Hold out for the REAL thing... the blood test!!!

Hang in there until Thursday. Remember that each pregnancy gives off HCG differently, so you can't compare them or your HPT results.

My last transfer was also a day 2 transfer, which means much younger embryos, so they HCG emitted takes longer to be detected. I didn't receive my first positive HPT until 9dpt and I was carrying twins.

Thursday will be here before you know it and then you will know for sure. I'm sending lots and lots of positive vibes your way!!!

Okay Ladies,
Today is day 12 and when I tried taking my last HPT this AM I pee'd on the window and it never gave me a reading (too funny or what?) I wasn't going to test today at all but couldn't resist since that last test was staring me in the face.
So I never did get a HPT result today but I decided to go get my blood test today instead of waiting until Thursday. My concern with waiting was that in Europe they test on day 14 then again a week later. I know here in the states we usually test between day 10 and 14 but there is usually a retest 2 days later to see if the numbers double, etc. So my thinking was I would test today and again on Thursday should we have any numbers to work with. How lame am I? LOL Oh well one way or another at least I will know by this afternoon.
