I woke this morning to a sore shoulder. You know the kind that aches a little, but goes away after 15-20 minuts?
Well, it didn't go away - in 15 hours!
I tried to see a physiotherapist and a chiropractor today while I was out, but they wouldn't see me bc they never have!?!?!
Isn't that an Oxymoron???
Moron anyway ;-)
So I stopped by my chiro tonight and asked if he could pop shoulders back in. By this time, I was convinced it had been dislocated somehow, but it was not.
It just froze in its place!!??!!??
Hmn.....
I hope it just un-freezes! Grr!
I never knew how much I take for granted my left arm. I went theu the drivethru today, and reached out my arm with the money, and my arm didn't make it out the window.
Smoke?? Want to quit smoking?? Just get a frozen shoulder and drive because you can't do both at once.
How about a ponytail?? for get i t !
Bra unclasping?? Nope.
I'm kinda curious how I will get tomorrows bra ON, but for tonight, dh had to do it![]()
Ever heard of this? How long does it last? Why does it go down my arn, into my chest and up my neck???
Hmn.... I swear, I have the crappiest luck.
Anyone know about this? There is no info on the net and I am annoyed at never having heard of it before.![]()

Did you have your regular family doctor check it out? you know the heart attack symptoms for women are just a tad different than for men. Down your arm, into your chest and up your neck make me nervous...??
or it's just a pinched nerve, I am just guessing of course!!!
Let us know, wow, sym!!!

A heart attack??? How old do you think I am??
Hehehe
OK. I appreciate the serious nature of your concern S, but I seriously don't think I had a heart attack. Not yesterday anyway-
There are days when I feel like I am though -
I finally found frozen shoulder, and it is a scarey thing in itself! OMG!
It's first stat is that it typically lasts 30 MONTHS! Wow!
There is so much contradictory infor on it though, a person can't know what the hell is up or down till one day 30-36 months after it just froze there, it just magically disappears
There is creepy write ups about treatments like steroid injections, surgery and this funky feng-suei treatment ppl go to the UK to have done when it just gets so out of hand.
OMG I hope the chiropractor is a moron who likes to freak ppl out & I didn't just wake to this one day - OY! to say the least.
I didn't see the Dr. today. I did go to the chiro. again but he closed early today so I just stretched thru the rediculously high pain there is when I move it, and I did get more mobility from it.
If by Monday I still can't raise my arm wo pain, I will have to see a real Dr though.
Anyway, I am 32. Hardly at heart attack age, although I did get checked last year for that with the chest pain I was having.
Neverhteless, if this is still imobile Monday I will stop thinking pinched nerve or muscle cramp and see what it really is.
Thanks for the heart attack concern

Hey girl, 32 is NOT a young age for a heart attack!!! But the frozen shoulder sounds kind of scary! I just hope it's nothing serious... but go to the dr on Monday if you continue to have pain over the weekend!!!! My blood pressure has STILL been extremely high, so I see a cardiologist on Sept 12th, for an echocradiogram (sp??) because he was so worried about my 160/104 b/p!!!! You just NEVER know! He increased my meds, so I'm doing EXTREMELY well now, so hopefully, he won't find anything on Sept 12th. I'm only 38 (39 on Sept 5th).
Hope your anniversary was fun!!!

Okay, Sym, I don't mean to scare you but a friend of mine has a very similiar story to yours. He woke up one day with his shoulder hurting, not knowing what if he slept on it wrong through the night. He went to work, but the pain increased the more he used it. To make a long story short, he is not able to lift it very high to this day and is unable to do any physically demanding job because of this shoulder. He has received cortisone shots in it, has taken medication for it, and surgery has even been suggested. The doctors cannot figure out what happened to his shoulder... I hope this is not the case for you at all and you have mobility back in it ASAP. I can only imagine how scary it is to lose mobility in one of your arms.
I hope you enjoy your anniversary! My parents anniversary is also on the 23rd and they have been married 38 years this year. I also have some friends that got married on the 23rd 2 years ago and they have been together for a total of 12 years. I am thinking that August 23rd is a magical date...Me (30) Dh (33)

Aha! There you are!
I knew you'd pop up one day

With regard to the shoulder - it is quite a mystery, this frozen shoulder.
Scarey too I agree.
Mine has since loosened up but I can feel it still hurting to lift. Not so much the shoulder now, but all the muscles that had to move it when it didn't want to move - so thankfully I am getting a 1 hr massage at the Spa for the anniversary 3d weekend (well, w/e for us-LOL)
I don't know, if it is frozen shoulder per se, or just a nerve, muscle spasm etc.
Apparently it is so hard to tell unless it freezes again and stays there longer. Hmn.
I certainly hope I never feel that again, but if I do, I will hightail it to a physiotherapist 1st!
Well, It IS never boring is it?? LOL
Answer you MAIL!!, your IM's...your phone!!
(Oops, that was 11pm - sorry ;-) )
I have to know about the rooms very soon.
