Your favourite memory of meeting your Dh/So

What is your favourite memory(s) of meeting your SO/DH?

1. Dh hitched a ride to my city with a friend. (1st date) He was at our meeting point before me. I drove up and attempted to park in front of him. Instead, he opened the door to my truck while I was still driving, and he layed the biggest, hottest kiss on me while I was trying to jam the truck in park so i didn't hit the building.

2) We were sitting at the harbour just talking & watching the sailboats drift in the wind. We were so caught up in eachother, that the boats had turned from one direction, completey in the other direction, while we were looking at them, and I didn't even notice they had turned until they were in the opposite direction already. I knew then, that I had fallen in love with him at the time those boats turned direction in the wind.

3) We arranged the weekend (dh lived 7 hrs away) so when he had to leave, we were in the car saying goodbyes. He could see I was wondering if he would/wouldn't come back (we arranged for him to move here 7 hrs away after that date). So he gave me the chain and pendant he wore around his neck saying "I WILL be back in a week!"
It was a gold chain carrying a wrench that his kids bought for him for fathers day. I knew he was comingh back then.

This is sweet! If I start crying, Sym, I am blaming it on you. LOL. Most of my memories with so are my favorite, so it's hard to narrow them down to just one or two.

#1) The first kiss that we shared. I was 13, he was 15. We were in my Dad's workshop above my parents' garage. There was this little room in the workshop, so we snuck off into there and shared this quick little peck because we were so scared that either my Mom or Dad was going to walk in on us.

#2) When so and I reunited 3 years ago. He was home on leave from the Army during Christmas and I knew nothing about it. I see this strange car pull into my parents' driveway, so I look out the window to see who has arrived. I wish you could have seen the grin on my face when I saw that it was so. I couldn't wait for him to get inside, so I ran outside to give him a huge hug. At this point it had been about 7 years since we had seen each other. The ironic thing? I was wearing a sweatshirt that he gave to me when we were dating in our teenage years. I spent some time with him while he was home on leave and as we were saying our goodbyes to each other, we shared this hug that I will NEVER forget. It was if the whole world stood still and we were the only ones that existed in it. That hug is now deemed as "The Hug That Changed Everything". LOL.

#3) (pg ment) - when so saw our little girl on the ultrasound screen for the first time and he started crying. Seeing him cry made me cry. He's such a softie!
