It's been a year or two, at least, but I think some of you may remember me. And I'd like to meet the rest of you.
Update/recap:
ttc #1 almost 3 years--4 IUI's (1 tubal preg.), IVF #1 WORKED!
dsBen born 10/11/01
sdMegan is 10 now. Just went home after 8 stressful weeks here this summer. (Does puberty seem to start earlier, or is it just me?)
Dh and I are ready to ttc again, with FET this time (early Oct?)
Since Ben was born, I switched careers, and I'm about to start my fourth year as a teacher. (Being home in the summer is fantastic!) Dh works for a pharmacy that--I can barely believe it--will cover IF tx.
The EO gets married next month to a nice man. He's so much easier to talk to than she is! EO is still hateful to me and rude to dh, but her fiance seems to love Megan, so things are a little better. They even invited us to the wedding! (My MIL is trying to pressure me to attend. I'm politely declining and sending a gift, but the mere idea of attending the wedding of someone who has committed credit card fraud against me AND made false allegations of child abuse against dh and me... well, it's beyond laughable.)
So that's where we are. I hope you are all well.

Tarasue!!
Of course I remember you! I have wondered how you are doing. It is wonderful to see that you are doing well. I still feel that we have a lot in common. I am transitioning from a career in Payroll and HR into teaching. I am in an ACP program now and about to start substitute teaching to gain classroom experience. My SD's are 13 and 11 now and my son is 2 years old. Are you nervous about TTCing? I am not sure that I could do it all again. I had major OCD problems during pregnancy and post partum depression with OCD. It was pretty horrible. I think it is like post traumatic stress syndrome after all I went through to conceive. I worried so much about my son and about ridiculous things happening to him that I began to worry that I might go crazy! I think the post partum depression scares me more than TTCing. Didn't you say you dealt with some of the same things? I still worry a lot, but I am much better. Only when I am really under a lot of stress do I begin obsessing about checking on my son,( or to be sure the door is locked, oven off etc), or worrying compulsively. I am glad to hear you are marrying off the EO! Someone else for her to focus on has to be a good thing. I don't think our EO will ever remarry. I wish she would though, she could really use the support of a loving spouse and the stability of a relationship. She has developed major chronic health problems and has been hospitalized most of the last two years. Well enough about me. I am so glad to see a post from you. I don't check in often here, but will be back soon as I can!

I remember you too TaraSue! I am glad to see you posting again. My little 'miracle' is 10 months old! Can you believe it? Conceived after stopping all TTC tx.
Welcome back!Your star shone brilliantly, if but a fleeting moment, etched forever in my heart. My heart ached so sadly when your light ceased to be, for me losing you, and for you, losing me.

Hello Tarasue!
I remember you as well. I often wondered what happened to you. My dh and I were not successful with ttc and have decided to move forward and accept life as it is. I was in San Diego, but relocated to Atlanta last October. We are happy here and I don't have the sad memories of my ttc failures. My dh and I are enjoying life together in our new home. I really like the people at my job. I am thinking about getting my motorcycle license so that I can ride with my dh. A couple of the other ladies and their spouses are thinking about the same.
I still pray for a miracle, but if not, I am okay.
I do hope that you will continue to post. It is nice to hear from you.
Love,
Lydia

I remember you too!
And like many others, I wondered about you all this time.
I am glad that life seems to be going so well for you, and to hear that you are ttc #2.
I wish you the same 1st time success as with IVF #1!
Like Lydia, we have not been able to concieve either, and have decided after too long ttc, that we would accept life as it were given as well.
My skids are now 13, 12 and 10!
OMG...They make me feel almost...old!
Ikes!

It is good to see you back here.
There are a few newbies, and some of the oldies have left, but we have many lurkers.
Me? I still come here sporadically these days when I can find the time, just to keep up with ppl, support the newbies, and say hello to friends.
Oh...and complain about the skids-lol
I will look forward to your posts, and as I said, wish you the best of speedy success in ttc again
