    Any good books to recommend?

Yes, it's my turn to host book club on October 7. I want some good ideas for books to present to everyone. Also anyone know of a good fondue maker? I am dying to have this. We went to this French restaurant and it was soooo good dipping bread, fruit, etc... in this cheese fondue. I also love chochlate fondue and dipping fruit in that. Thanks!

MAV, I can't help you with the fondue maker as I've never had fondue .

But I will try to think of some books for you. Did you see the thread on here where I listed books that our gals here recommended and I put the synopsis with them? It's under a thread called Book Club 2, I think. But I'll try to think of something for ya.!

cant help you with the book but the La Creuset fondue set is THE best on the market. I make the fondue on the stove in the cast iron (enamelled) pan and then set it on the warmer! yum! we also dip steak and sausage etc..... now am craving the darmed stuff so will be out buying more cheese and wine if you need me lol

It is a fair, even-handed, noble adjustment of things, that while there is infection in disease and sorrow, there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good-humour. 'A Christmas Carol'.
