Any practicing Wiccans?

I am just beginning my studies, and was wondering if there were any more experienced practioners out there.

Blessed be,
Amy

I know there at least a couple here on FT but perhaps they don't want to mention it in public. Perhaps you have received some pm's?

I would love to learn more about Wicca, so hopefully your post gets read and answered by some folks with personal experience.

(In the meantime Sym, if you are really interested you could probably find quite a lot by doing a web search on Wiccan beliefs and practices.)

I haven't gotten any PMs...and yes, it is possible there are practicing Wiccans that aren't "out of the broom closet" yet.

Basically, I need to make some changes in my life. The path I am on right now just isn't working for me. I have never been particularly religious, and I KNOW the religion that I was born into isn't for me. I knew that when I was 12.

The Wiccan path thus far has been my best fit. I am reading and researching the history, practice, ritual and spirituality of Wicca right now...but like I posted earlier...I am at the very beginning of my path. I would love someone else to talk to. So if anyone is reading this and would like to discuss it....please PM.

Blessed be,
Amy

Amy, I didn't mean to be hurtfull. Im sorry if I offended/hurt you. I just didn't know what to say since I know nothing about your interest, but I wanted to reply so It didn't look like no-one was interested in your post. i was trying to draw attention to the post to generate replies.

Again. Sorry..truly.
Its too bad you've received no PMs though. I am sure, as someone else stated, that others are interested in this too so I hope you do get some replies soon.
I struggle with religion and beliefs and finding "something" myself, s I understand the need to find a place. I was raised (loosly) anglican and to be honest, I am not sure what that really means. I do for the most pasrt, believe in God, and I try to ...ah this is a long story...suffice it to say...I understand looking for something & hope you find it.

Sym

Sym - thank you for your apology. I know you weren't intentionally being hurtful.

I am feeling quite lost right now and searching for a "place" that I belong. In general, I sort of belong here and there (not spiritually or religiously), but never truly belong.

I have posted many posts that have been largely ignored/unanswered here. My goal in life isn't to be "popular", but recognized would be good. So thanks for trying to call some attention my way!!

Wicca is one of those subjects that alot of people find interesting, maybe not enough to study, but enough to listen. And because many Christian and Jewish people believe it is related to Satan (totally not true), alot of people keep their ideas and beliefs quiet. I am not really surprised at the response.

Ccat - I might e-mail you with some questions...if that is ok?

Amy

Merry Meet

Hello.. I am a pagan. I am an eclectic Pagan.. I beleive in the Goddess, I use some forms of Wicca but not fully.. if you have any questions, you can pm me and i will try to answer all your questions truthfully.. I have been a witch for 5 years now coming from Catholicism... didn't feel like I belonged plus i needed balance in my life so I went out searching for Goddess religion and found Paganism.. I am at home in my way of life.

Namaste,
Meg

Not Wiccan, no longer Pagan...more of a Buddist now than anything else...

But wanted to say I love that you are exploring different paths and hope you share. Knowledge is only powerful when it's shared.

I just saw this particular forum and forgive me for intruding if it seems like I am. I am a practicing wiccan as is my beloved. He recently (5yrs ago) converted to wicca after growing up a southern baptist, but I am the oldest daughter of an alexandrian high priestess and grew up with the wiccan ways being implanted early. That being said, I've done pretty extensive research on other faiths as well. I hope that wicca is a good fit for you and that you are truly blessed along your path. I don't know if you're ttc or not, but I have found that at times it is difficult to follow such a fertility based path when faced with infertility.

Blessed Be
Kelcey
