Nice to meet you also. Your son is such a cutie. I need to update my avatar pic, that's from kindergarten and DD is going to be 8 next week. I love being a Mom it's the best part of my life.

Hi, I so agree..being a mom is everything to me. Being an older mom, i think makes me want to spend as much seconds with my DS as possible. I had him at 43 and now I'm at a cross road in my life and trying to make sure I'm making all the right decisions for us. Being single makes it all that much more difficult..but his father would not be positive for us. So I am being strong for both of us with help from my parents (sometime I want to strangle myself for moving in with them -lol) But all in all I am over joyed with my DS. What do you do career wise? At the moment I'm a SAHM while trying to apply to grad school for Art Education. I use to be a textile artist. Nice to meet you!

What a coincidence, I became a Mom at 43 also. Good luck with Grad school. I was an art major but that was eons ago.

Love your profile pic. DD is very creative, so I may need to live vicariously through her creativity. I am hoping to have some extra money for some art supplies soon. We used to enjoy putting out big sheets of paper and painting up a storm.
