Any plans for the summer? DD is signed up for several weeks of summer day camp, but not much ese is planned for us. Anyone else?

I know dixiemom got married, but is anyone else left? Too busy to post? Hope everyone is well, whereever they are.

Do you ever have people act as if they feel sorry for you because you are a single parent? Personally, I do not feel that my life is all that different from many of my married friends. The hubby is frequently not at home, and the mom does the bulk of the family stuff. What's your experience?

What are your kids doing re: Valentine's Day at school? We went looking tonight and stuff was pretty picked over, plus St Patrick's Day and Easter stuff was already out. we found a few items 50% off at Joann's to make a small goodie bag. Hopefully they will turn out OK.

I can cheerfully say we have nothing on our plate. DD has a violin lesson Saturday morning. Other than that I just have laundry and housework to do. It's supposed to be cold in this area, so that's fine with me.
