Wildfire: What day is your appt?

Yesterday my appt was in the 11th week. I had to BEG to get an u/s. Her standard is one at 8 weeks (which I had with the RE) then not another one until 20 weeks. I am so jealous of you guys that get them every 4 weeks!

Jessica-They are not changing my due date. Which is annoying. Yesterday the baby measured 10w4d (consistent with ovulation), but they considered me 11w5d. From here on out, no more u/s, so we won't know what the baby is measuring. She said because of the PCOS she test early for GD. She thinks I am likely to have it BC b/c last pg I gained a lot of weight FAST. (I was not on met then.) Also, I was telling her how different I feel (good) when I take the met and when I don't. I have actually always passed my Insulin Resistance tests, so should be interesting. Also found out she wants me to gain 20lbs AT MOST for the entire pg. I think that will be hard!!!

Hope everyone is doing well today. I'm starting to feel a bit better. I actually have not puked yet....just the queasy (sp?) off and on. I've got my NT scan coming up in the next few weeks, but other than that just enjoying being pregnant (for probably the last time).

Smiles...with my first the u/s showed a three week difference from when I KNOW I ovulated and the babe's growth and they went with the u/s. When I went into labor on my own 3 weeks before the due date they kept saying...you're three weeks early. It annoyed me to no end because I knew she was right on time. I had GD with my first, but not my second. They think I got it with my first because of the hyperemesis I experienced with her. I have not been as sick with my other two pregnancies and I was with her. I will say that I had to have the GD test 4 times with dd#2 because of my history with dd #1. I hope you won't have to take it so many times.

    Hi Girls,

Smiles - glad your appt went well! But, sorry you might have GD...... it seems like so many people have that these days.

I too am jealous of those of you who have scheduled u/s often!

I had my 10 wk appt last week and doc just did a quick tummy u/s because he couldn't hear the hb. However, for a good u/s, they have to order one at the hospital they are affiliated with....

But, I've had some spotting so I have had more...one with my RE at 8wks (normal), then with my new OB at 9w1d and then one yesterday 10w5d. THe two latter were very cool but they only did them b/c of some bleeding

Yesterday's was great, could see baby L moving, etc..... BUt I have a question for you ladies about the spotting....

TMI - I only bleed when I go to the bathroom (#2) and it's not every time. When I do bleed, it's a decent amount of blood on the tp, not just a little spotting. Has this ever happened to anyone? I was taking baby aspirin to help while ttc and the RE said just take them until I'm 12 weeks. Do you think that could have something to do with it?? Just looking for opinions.

Also, I'm boring too as far as what I call this little bean, usually just baby L (for our last name). Sometimes I call him Jack...I think it will be a boy... we told my father in law less than 24 hours before he passed that if we got pg we'd name a boy after him. We had the IUI 3days after he passed (on 12/24!) and we got pg so I think it's a boy!!

I'm 11 wks tomorrow and praying that the bleeding doesn't mean anything!

Hope you are all well! Oh - did anyone try bbcue chips??

Smiles: I thought they changed the date when it was a week difference! It must be frustrating when you know your O date!

Melanie: Yea for a good appt! I had some of the bleeding after a bowel movement, my doc said its from the sensitive cervix. I have a DS and I love being a mom to a boy, they are lots of fun! I wonder about having a girl though, the clothes are so cute!

Sharianni: I am glad you are feeling better!

Wild: I hope everything goes well for your u/s. I guess we will be talking about a NT test at my appt. I am not sure if I need one or not?!

DM: I love getting u.s they make me feel so much more secure!

AFM: Reg. OB appt tomorrow afternoon and I am so excited! I will post after wards for all those interested!

I had some spotting around 13 weeks with my last pgcy. Everything was fine but I did go on bedrest for a couple of weeks. Sounds like your doc is on top of it if you're getting ultrasounds and everything looks fine.
I'm hoping for a boy this time too!

baby was literally upside down on their head and the tech had a problem getting the clear views she wanted. Guess we will get those at my level III

Wild and Jessica: Sounds like you both had great appointments!!!

Wild: When did you say you are doing your Level III?

Is anyone else doing a level III? We decided not to, it took a lot of thought and we were on the fence for a long time.

Melanie-I hear you on the ultrasounds. 2 of my 4 were because of bleeding. What does the dr say about the bleeding? I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!! (And it sounds like we our little ones are only a day apart...even though my due date is a week earlier.

DM: You do a such a great job responding to all of us. How are you doing?

Shari: Glad you are feeling pretty good and not puking! I think you should try the bbq chips for us!!! hehe

AFM: I have spent the last 3 hours reading all the baby magazines from the OB freebie bag. I think my brain my explode now. This first time mama has a lot to learn!

Sounds like everyone is doing good so far

DM you holding it in pretty good?

Level III should be in 2 or so weeks I think (10 weeks give or take)

Read the baby magazines but don't fret, or worry about doing things "right" as long as you feed and snuggle your baby...the rest can go
