I am finally home

Yay girls i am finally home and me and Haley are settling in She was born August 28th via csection at 7:43am. She was 6lbs 7 oz and 19 inches so a tiny little doll hehe....first few days were rough and still are challenging here at home with another child but dh is caring for us and we will be good in prolly another week. I meet with the lactation nurse today to talk to her about BFing cause Haley is having a little bit of a hard time so i am pumping and using formula. She lost a little bit of weight in the hospital so she is down to 5lbs 13 oz now so hopefully the pumping and formula will help her gain what she lost. I will update with pics as soon as i can!

Congratulations!!! Good for you for meeting with the lactation consultant instead of giving up on BFing! Every little bit that you can give her is like liquid gold, so hang in there!

Can't wait to see pictures!

Congrats! She's similar in size to my baby. She was 6 pounds 6 ounces, went down to about 5 pounds 15 ounces, but was back up to 6 pounds 7 ounces by her 12th day of life. I'm glad you're meeting with an LC - it made a huge difference when I was nursing my first child. Good luck!
