Saying HI from the hospital
Checked into the hospital around 11am this morning after going to see my OB. I was only 1cm dilated and still very thick. They have started the pitocin and now we're just waiting. I brought a couple of movies with me so we're watching Sweet Home Alabama. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day. The pit is at 30ml right now and they are upping it every 15-30 minutes I think. The dr. won't break my water until the head is more engaged to prevent the possibility of cord prolapse.

Well, here you go!! Happy Monday!! I hope you have fast results though I am glad you are prepared with a little cinematic action and I think you should try to get a little shut eye while you're at it!! Thanks for keeping us informed and I wish you comfort during the induction and, of course, a happy healthy little one!!

Update
At about 2:15 the dr. came to see me. I was 2 cm (barely) and a -3 station. I was only about 30% effaced, so it's been slow going. The pitocin is now up to 48ml so I'm having a good ctx pattern. They're just starting to get uncomfortable. He said he would be back in a few hours to hopefully break my water. So I'm guessing that should happen about 5pm. I haven't had any luck taking a nap so far. I'm too anxious!
