About LinkBacksJust like her big sister, little Miss Zoey was in a rush. So this morning, at 34 weeks, 3 days, Zoey Michael Eden made her grand appearance. She weighed in at 4lbs, 6ozs and 18 inches long. She had a little problem with breathing at first but was quickly put on room air. She is now sleeping well in the NICU.
The Birth Story:
I woke up around 4am having to pee alot! Finally, at 4:30am, I realized I was in labor with some pretty intense contractions. Also, there was some blood. I woke hubby up and off we went to the hospital. We arrived at 6am and Zoey was born at 6:21am. When we arrived I was already dialated to 9cm with a "bulging bag." No time for an epidural but I have to admit, it wasn't that bad.
Zoey will spend a couple of days in the NICU b/c of her gestational age and weight but sounds like she'll be home by this weekend. :-)
