    Another "newbie"

Well...in the beginning stages of being a newbie anyway. I've been meaning to make an appt with my RE for a few days now...but I was having this convo with myself after reading that one of the very very sweet girls in my Due date BB got pregnant naturally.

ME: Ugh! Where is this jealous feeling coming from.
ME: Well, you want that to happen to you obviously.
ME: But I'm not even really "trying"...and anyway, I'm okay with having do to ART again.
ME: Well then why haven't you made that stinking appointment yet!?

So I did. May 5th, I could have gotten it earlier (mid-April) but I need just a bit of time to prepare myself mentally.

FYI - I have a one year old DD concieved on my first IVF, after 3 years TTC. She was born early so May is 1 year from her supposed due date.

sweet em -- what a beautiful DD!

i'm right there with you... dragged my feet about going to RE.... finally got the referral and a relatively quick appt.... am now in the wait to get my test results.... we had to have another whole "new" workup.

i should have pushed harder to get an earlier follow up, but decided to spend a bit of me time instead.

i also just saw someone from my last go around with a natural BFP, and a few folks on my due date club have had them too...

i ask them to rub their bellies for me and hope it's contagious. ;-)

the hardest part is getting started... and you've done that. we have a (somewhat) weekly thread... join us when you're ready!

Welcome Sweet um! I know who you girls are talking about with the natural miracle. (couldn't happen to a nicer person).

Sweet um. I've been dealing with a touch of the jealousy bug too. Now I'm getting a bit excited to cycle again. (scared as all get out too!)

I know...I told my DD tonight that I could be pregnant in July! (she didn't seem to care...weird )

Although I am dreading the feelings of angst and depression that I associate with IF, it is nice to know probably what the issue is and what they will do to "fix" it.

Don't feel too weird about being jealous when you're not actively trying. DH and I aren't trying any more as of last month. I still feel jealous. It's just knowing you can't do something even if you try that gets to us. Congrats on your RE appointment and best of luck!
