About LinkBacksI have been gagging down 2tsp of robtussin. Does anyone know if you up the dose when you are close to O? This is an off cycle but I am O on my own!!! So I just need to make sure my CM isnt as thick.

I always took it about 2 hrs before I did the deed lol!

If you want to minimize gagging, you could take Mucinex instead (it is a pill form of the same medication - guafenisen (sp?). I usually increased it to twice a day around o and is a 12hr formula. If you are taking regular robitussen I think you have to take it several times a day to be effective.

Jen, I take the maximum dose. (30 ml, 4 times a day), two days before O and the day of O. (for me, day of trigger, day before and day of DIUI.)
I've been taking an incredible amount of noxious liquids since June!
Chinese herbs, greens powder, wheatgrass, fish oils. This helps:
Have a glass of water in your hand, chug the disgusting liquid, then IMMEDIATELY drink half a glass of water. That way it goes down, but does not linger on your taste buds. I'm so used to ugly tastes, that I don't even bother to warm up the TCM herbs---just down them.
What we do, eh? LOL

It thins out your cervical mucous. That way the swimmers have a better chance of making it
