Just a note to celebrate my daughter's birthday - which is tomorrow. Two years ago right now I was going through the worst pain ever! And now, I experience the best joy ever.
I am still in awe that pregnancy was achieved. I've remained in contact with my doctors, especially the therapist attached to the unit - who have informed me that I was on the strongest meds for the IVF and they were very concerned that it would not work.
I am so blessed to have my daughter. I only had 9 eggs on retrieval and only 3 survived to Blastocyst.
no one really has the answer as to why Ivf sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. So with that in mind, I never take my daughter for granted and everyday I embrace the moments I have to be with her.
To everyone on this board, I truly pray and hope that each of you find the path to your own children. Whether that be through doner processes or adoption.
Thank you all for being there when I needed the support and acceptance.
All the best
Bonnie

What a nice post Bonnie. My daughter is 13 weeks tomorrow and we have been home 12 weeks. The pain and complications after are still in my mind, but like you said...I look at her and cherish every moment I have with her

My doesn't the time go by so quickly. It seems just yesterday that you were newly pregnant! Yes we are so blessed by our children! Two is such a fun age. They are just so funny and playful and stubbornly independent. I love it! Enjoy! What are you doing for her birthday?
