Kombucha Tea
(by Nova)
It's an amazing drink with probiotics, enzymes, Vit. C, B-vitamins, is alkalizing, takes care of candida among other healthful properties. And it's an energizing drink .
It's been around for possibly thousands of years. Currently, it is commercially prepared, or, you can make it at home.
You can check out the commercially prepared Kombucha here: http://www.gtskombucha.com/ There is a great FAQ section.
You can learn how to make it yourself here (be sure to scroll down to the articles:

I've been making it for about 3 months now. Depending on the tea used and the temperature it was brewed at, it tastes a bit like fizzy apple cider vinegar and sometimes champagne, though it is non-alcoholic.
It's made from a culture of yeast and bacteria (some sources call it a mushroom, but it isn't). The culture floats in a glass canister filled with a mixture of tea and sugar and over a period of 7-10 days, converts the sugar and the tea into the Kombucha Tea.
The culture grows a baby which you can use give away to friends and family so they can make their own, too.
My personal experience with the tea is increased energy and better general health. It's not a cure-all by any means. My dh is has a swollen lymph node under his jaw that went away when he started drinking the Kombucha.

I'm finally about to start a new batch. I'm going to try to create a new culture from some of GT's raw kombucha.
