This group is for couples who have a diagnosis of high sperm DNA fragmentation, or for those who want to find out if this may be the cause of their IVF failures etc. Typically losses happen around day 8 after conception or in vitro fertilization, due to the fact that the paternal genome is supposed to take over at that point. There is growing evidence that SSRIs in addition to other medications, overheating, smoking, excess drinking, etc. cause severe oxiditive stress for sperm and fragment dna. Several couples here are members of an NIH study on DNA fragmentation.
