today i had to go to the lab to get my day 3 levels (even tho its day 2 and the nurse sez "it should be fine"). if its not, im likely to rip her snotty little head off, but thats another story.
so i'm at the lab and the blue hair taking my info doesnt understand my tests so she makes a phone call. while in a little room (without privacy) she asks on the phone (very loudly) "what is an ovarian reserve test?" and "what does the day 3 estradiol mean?" and "what does it mean day 3?"
really?? REALLY?! thank you blue haired lady for announcing to all the other people waiting for their lab draws that 1) my ovarian reserve is in question, 2) that i'm pushing 40, and 3) AF is here!! ya, i appreciated that......
To add insult to injury, i get on stupid facebook and was "ambushed" by DH's bff's gf who hasn't sed boo abt her pg til now and she's just gushing abt it!! Ugh!
i guess its time to watch a tear jerking and call it a night.....

I completely understand how you feel. I have 3 preg ladies in my job at the moment. One i just found out about this last week by her proudly proclaiming it on FB. I am happy for her but at the same time, it just points out my own struggles and I cried for 2 days. Then I get to hear about her "complaining" about all the cravings she's having and how tired she feels. Worst of all, she posted on FB that she is going to an appt this week to hear the baby's heartbeat. Again happy for her, but its so hard for me too.

As for that idiot at the clinic, talk about unprofessional behavior. Is there someone you can complain to about her? As a patient you have the right to privacy and she had no right to discuss your case for all to hear. Completely unacceptable!!
