Question Info on Fertility Treatment Places in Pittsburgh, PA

My wife and I have been going to Reproductive Health Specialists in Pittsburgh, PA area, but are considering making a move.

Like the title says, we're looking for feedback on why people like different places.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I am on the other side of PA, so I can't help you there.

I would suggest trying www.rateMDs.com and doing an advanced search.

There's also www.sart.org - it's more for statistics but maybe that will help you too.

Good luck!

DH and I have been going to the Jones Institute at West Penn Hospital. The staff is very friendly and thorough. I am not a success story yet, but I seem to have a ton of issues. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. Not sure what type of info you're looking for.

I am also a patient of RHS. I have just finished my first cycle there. Transfered on Wed May 22. Did you have issues with the facility? Curious if i am in good hands or made a bad decision. And a very expensive one at that... ugh

I know this is an old posting, but maybe you are still looking. I go to University Physicians Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Magee. I really like it there.

My recommendation is to go anywhere but RHS in Pittsburgh. My experience was horrible and my case was completely mishandled. My OB/GYN doesn't even refer patients to them anymore because of my experience.

I know two other people who went there thaat ended up going somewhere else because of thier experiences.

snfn8, yeah, well, you can add us to the list.

My wife's gynie has done a lot with infertile couples over the years, and he identified 4 things that they never did at RHS that was covered by Insurance or was relatively inexpensive.

We are currently saving up to do a couple of IUI's, in back to back months...

I just hope that we don't have another Christmas without a Baby.
