Overwhelmed...
I just started on this roller coaster a few months ago. I was dx with POF back in June. I am on my 2nd RE. My highest FSH was 178. My son was born in May 2005. After that, I went back on the pill until March. I wasn't ovulating, so my OBGYN referred me to an RE.
I have been doing acupuncture and herbs, along with wheat grass and royal jelly. My FSH has come down to 77. I have been monitored via bloodwork and sono every week. Two weeks ago my new RE put me on Estrace. I went back today and was given a script for Provera to induce a period. Is this a normal protocol? Anyone else do this? What is the next step? I am so confused and have no idea what is going on. I feel like this is a slap in the face. I mean, we spend so much of our lives trying NOT to get pregnant, then when we want it, it doesn't happen. I am the least patient person in the world. I like instant gratification. I am also spoiled...I am used to getting what I want. Sorry to whine so much...I just want to cry right now. I haven't told any friends, my DH is away (and I only get the "whatever you want" line from him).
