Hi,
I was on bcp for 21 days before IVF #1. My RE didn't even check my fsh that month because he said with the bcps it wouldn't be reliable.

I have seen a lot of women whose FSH jumped up like that after doing hormone shots, BCP's etc. Don't panic yet! It really could be the extra hormones messing with your body.

You have a lot of options. High fsh does not mean you cant get pregnant. I have high fsh and got pg at 40 and I am now ttc #2. You need to find a high fsh friendly RE. Having High fsh alot of times means you might not respond well to meds. Remember its quality and quantity and since you are 32 your eggs are still good.

Usually more aggressive therapy is suggested by the RE when you have high FSH. I have 15 and we're trying IUI first. My levels flucuate also but it sounds right that your FSH is only as good as your worst reading. Good luck to you.

Hello, I also live in NJ area. Your story is great news and gives me hope. I am 36 and FSH level of 15. Would you mind telling me where your RE is located?

I live in Chicago, I walked in the door at U of C with an FSH of 24.9 and they let me cycle. Numbers can go up from stimming, and that may be your case. FSH also changes from month to month. Ultimately, even though it is up you are not out and that is what counts. Many ladies take wheatgrass to keep FSH down, you may want to try it.
