I am thinking about DE. but it is very expensive and risky. I don't know what to do. I spoke with my doctor's nurse and she refer me to the DE nurse. I am going set an appointment for tomorrow. I just have to collect the thoughts and questions.

I too have FSH over 100 and just was dx with POF at age 34. I was told I was never going to get my period again and I did this month ? I had only 1 follicle and wow that was nice to hear ED is not the only way to have a child. FSH levels can change mostly if you are under 40. I have heard of success stories! Goodluck and keep the faith!

Hello, I'm new here. I just got activated today.
I have never met anyone with POF. I was diagnosed 5 years ago at age 16.
My doctors didn't mince words. "You will never have a child."

I haven't gone back since I turned 18, and I'm wondering what's up.
I never was told about ED or anything.

Sigh- what do you mean by "FSH can change if you're under 40"?

Hi, I read your profile and I think you should go to an RE for an opinion on what is going on. Forget about a referral from the OB/GYN. I decided a couple years ago to not let the insurance company tell me what I can and cannot do and and not to wait for referrals from Drs. It is a waste of my time and offers only needless frustration.

If you really have POF, DE are a wonderful option. My FSH was 20 at 35 y/o and I have to use DE. If your uterus is normal, you can still experience pg and childbirth and your DH can be a father.

There is still hope for you to have a child. Don't give up yet.
