elevated fsh reply
Thank you Mary for your encouragement. There is a huge part of me that says it is way to early to throw in the towel but there is another part of me that says I have every reason to believe that we can carry to term a healthy pregnancy. Depo is depo-provera, the birth control 4x a year injection. Thank you again!!

I'm 35, fsh 11.4 just completed ivf #2 which yielded one good egg out of three retrieved. My RE is talking donor egg, I'm not sure what to do. I am having trouble believing the dx but is that the denial that comes with grief? My 2 cell embie didn't take. Ivf #2, 5 eggs, one fertilized, 6 cell embie didn't take. Starting to feel uncomfortable with babies on TV, at the store etc. Is this normal?

Ladies: I don't frequent this board too much, but I do poke my head in once in a while. You might want to check out the HIGH FSH board: we have two really informative and supportive threads. The first one is the Cyclers thread, which is primarily a preg- free place (especially for those days you don't feel like dealing with any preg talk) for women to support each other through cycling, and FSH Hope, which is a thread welcoming everyone and does have some of our veterans who are now pg on it. Please check it out. From what I've seen, you're too young to give up yet, and you need to get an FSH friendly doc. An FSH friendly doc, BTW, is someone who will let you cycle with your eggs no matter what your FSH is, while at the same time letting you know what your chances for success are. And FSH is only one part of the picture. As you can see from my signature, it's possible to beat the odds. After all, 5% chance of conceiving is not 0%!
Best of luck on all of your journeys. |
