    Low fetal heart rate

Hey there. I wanted to see if anyone has experienced low fetal heart rates early on and gone on to a successful pregnancy?

A little about me. Found out on Wednesday we were expecting twins. I was 6 wks along. Baby a measuring 2 days behind but hb of 110. Baby b measuring a day behind and hb of 96. Next day, yesterday, started bleeding. Ended up being a sub chronic hematoma. Checked the babies again. Baby a didnt grow and hb of 80. Baby b grew and hb of 100-110. So baby a is now struggling. I know we don't want heart beats below 90. So I feel as if I'm just waiting to miscarry now.

    Anyone have experience?

I did have an experience where I was told one of my twins was going to m/c and he did not. He is now 4 years old. But, it was prior to finding a heartbeat. I had a bleed and he did not grow for a couple of days even though baby A had grown. Unfortunately, I have had the opposite experience as well with this pregnancy. It was low and baby did not make it, but that was later than you are, at around 8wks. 6wks is still early for heartbeats and they do start slowly. So, I'm hoping that yours are going to pick up, especially baby A. I know the waiting is the worst part. I'm sorry you are going through this. More to you!

    Keep me updated.

Thanks for the feedback star. At times I am positive other times I am not. The waiting is the hardest part. I'm glad to know your little one made it but sad your other did not. This is my 2nd twin pregnancy. The first ended w 1m/c. I was/am hoping and praying the same or worse dies not happen w this. I will update after Wednesday.

AWESOME news!!!! It sounds like they are doing great. I know the bleeding is scary, but it really is common and a lot of women go through it and come out just fine on the other side. I see it a lot on these boards. Hopefully, you won't have any more scares and it will be smooth sailing from here on out! Thanks for the great news!
