I went for my first scan yesterday and found out we are having 2 babies![]()
I am scared, excited and overwhelmed all at once!
Please help me though:
So Baby A had a large sac and measured 7 weeks 2 days with a heartbeat of 153.
Baby B had a smaller sac and measured 6 weeks 4 days with a heartbeat of 146.
Fetal pole was seen in both.
There's a 5 day growth difference, should I be concerned? I was 7 weeks 1 day at the ultrasound and VERY sure of my dates.
TIA xxx

Nothing to be concerned about at all. They are individual babies and as such will develop at different rates. They are both well within the normal range.

Congratulations on your twins!!!!!!Heather

Hi,
We just had an u/s too and I also am freaked out...as I only expected one baby as the other u/s (with the crummy u/s machine at the obgyns office only saw one baby). So we went to the hospital and there u/s machine was much clearer. One baby is doing geat measuring 8 wks and the other is 5 wks. The stronger one has a HB of 167 and the smaller one is 130. We are wondering if the second one can even survive being 3 weeks behind????
So Im scared happy and mesmerized all in one..we really can only afford one baby...but hopefully, God will provide...
Im hoping your pregnancy is going well...any updates?
Ann
