Thanks Carrie, that helps ease my mind a bit. I do think that my OB will want to do a cerclage, he'd even put a note in my file that if I got pg before 6mo after the LEEP he'd want to do one, and I guess they usually do it at around 12 wks. It totally sucks not having an appetite huh? I'm wishing I could just eat like a stereotypical pg woman but I just can't. Hopefully your baby shower date will work out! At 30 wks you should be ok . I had showers after my first was born, since everyone wanted to see the baby. She slept through the whole thing lol. That was 9 years ago and I have NO baby items around anymore so I'm hoping someone will decide to throw a shower for us this time. I hope your pains aren't anything serious!

Congratulations Adrienne! They sound beautiful and they're such troopers How far along were you when they were born? 30 weeks? I'll keep them in my prayers that they're out of the NICU soon and home with you.

Sarah-They checked my cervix at my 18 week anat scan and she said it was the most beautiful cervix she's ever seen so hopefully they'll at least check before resorting to a cerclage. Even if you just had the LEEP, they shouldn't do something like that unless they feel it's necessary!

CBear- I had my first prenatal appt today . They did book an u/s to check the cervix. He said they'll book surgery for a cerclage but can always cancel the appointment if the scan shows I won't need it..so that's good. However, it did sound like since my LEEP was so recent that he'll most likely go ahead with it for added peace of mind. I'm ok with that, I expected it since I know I didn't follow dr's orders and wait 6 months to get pregnant. He said it would be done with a spinal block. They booked an u/s in 2 weeks for the NT scan, the cervical check is 2 weeks after that, then May 10 is the next u/s, which is the gender one (yay!) and then every 2 weeks from then on.
He said they'll be looking at delivering at 36 wks, which is pretty common for mo/di's, and he said it'd be with an epidural placed, I guess to be prepared in case they'll need to do a csection. I told him I definitely want to do what it takes to have a vaginal birth, but I know it all depends on their positioning.
So, overall it was a good appointment, and I'll see him again after my NT scan in 2 wks.
