Has anyone else had the NTS (nuchal translucency screening) performed with twins? I will be 13 weeks, 3 days when it is done and I am concerned that it is too late to show the most accurate results. Any feedback or tips on what I should know before getting this test? I understand that it is only a screening and will provide me with the risks involved with having a child with downs, trisomy, etc.

It is getting to be too late. It may be already, so you need to decide asap.
Personally, I skip them. There is a high rate of false positives and to me it isn't worth it. I personally know several people both on-line and IRL who have had false positives with multi's and singles. But, everyone has different comfort levels. I refuse all screening tests, even with singles. Some people prefer to do all screening possible.
Good luck deciding!! We'd love to have you join us on our support thread if you would like to.

Hi. I had the nucal fold test (sorry can't remember what week). I'm pregnant with triplets and we felt that, if one or more were severely disabled, this would seriously affect our ability to parent effectively - it's going to be crazy enough anyway!
We have identical twins (and a bonus baby). One twin had a thicker nucal fold which at the next scan had gone down to normal. We decided to have amnio on the twins to be sure they were both ok. Apart from a fluid leak(!) afterwards the test came back fine and I don't regret having it done.
We thought it'd be useful to know either way - either to decide whether to reduce the pregnancy (which we didn't want to do but couldn't rule out) or just to be prepared if there was an issue.
I'm 21 weeks now.

Thanks everyone. Makes me feel better. I was so concerned that I was making a bad decision or scheduled in at a wrong time. I will keep the appointment. I agree that I would rather know in advance of any issues then be blindsided in the delivery room. Thanks for the feedback.
