Hello friends. Would you recommend me registering for one double pack n play or two regular pack n plays for twins. I'm not going to use them for co-sleepers. I'm going to put the crib next to our bed and turn it into a co-sleeper. Also, I've read that the double pack-n-plays are a bit cumbersome and bow in the middle with two babies sleeping in it.
Any suggestions?

I also read about the bowing in the middle thing. We decided to go with two separate pack and plays. I figure I can keep one downstairs and one upstairs as needed. Also, my friend with the 3 year old twins used to bring her pack and plays out when she was visiting, and that made for a very handy spot to put the boys down to sleep.

We ended up getting 2 pack and plays. We figured we could keep one upstairs in our bedroom for the first month and then one downstairs for naps during the day.
It also makes more sense for traveling too, once they are a little older. My 2 year old niece takes up all the space in one pack and play, I don't see how twins could share one for much longer than a year or so.
these are the ones we registered for, they are a little on the smaller side, but figured it made sense because we have two. plus, it's cute!

I only got one pack and play and ended up not using it very much at all. The babies didn't sleep well in it but that could have just been my guys and not the pnp at all. I tired having the pnp inour room when we first brought them home but got such little sleep I put them in the nursery in one crib and after a couple days ended up on an air mattress in their room for the first couple weeks. I tried using it for naps later on and they wouldnt have it. I know not all babies are like that and mine are great sleepers but it had to be in their beds and no where else.

What do you plan on using the pack n play for?
We bought 2 because we needed them for travel cribs when we visited family. We did lay both babies in one in our living room at first during the day. I would not have 2 babies sleep in the same PnP unsupervised because they do tend to roll towards each other. (At least that was true for the single PnP.)B/G twins 9/27/06

We decided we are going to get the big arms reach cosleeper...heard too many complaints about the twin pack and play sagging in the middle. Also the cosleeper has a high resale value..i just resold my mini cosleeper for only 20.00 less than I bought it for on ebay.
