carpal tunnel symptoms

hi--anyone had any tingling/achy-ness in their arms? Mine began w. tingly hands while sleeping and now has progressed to tingly/pain/achy feeling during the day--even writing something breif/brushing my teeth---feels very circulatory. My doc says it happens--anyone had it? have any tips? I am only 26 weeks if this goes on from here on in--yikes..otherwise i have been feeling great--achy feet but that is tolerable..

thanks!

Ugh...I had it when I was pregnant with the twins and still have numbness in my right fingers (our twins are 3.5 weeks old). I'd like to know when I will have feeling back in my hands!

I had major tingly/numbness from 30+ weeks and at the very end it got painful. The WORST was all the IV fluids they pumped into me during the c-section my arms/hands were in so much pain I was almost distracted with them taking the babies out. I was in major pain (much worse than pregnancy) up until about 3 months and it has slowly disapaited since....its now gone. The wrist wraps were the best if you can do everything in them try to they will keep the swelling down and help the pain.

the splints seem to be helping, but they are really annoying and get in the way.

thanks for the replies--sounds like the symptoms may persist post birth...i had accupuncture a few days ago and it has helped decrease the pain--FYI. I keep DROPPING things though--makes the rushed/busy mornings a bit dicey--today it was a tin of uncooked oats, yesterday a cup of coffee--joy joy! thanks again, laura
