Does anyone have the Mazda 5 minivan? xpost
xpost from general pregnancy
I am been curious about this minivan since I heard it has been called the mini mini van ![]() How do you like? Will it fit a double stroller (I am looking at the Kolcraft Countours)? I like to get a minivan that is big enough that I don't have to close the stroller and keep it open in the back so it is easy for other family members to use. Thanks in advance!

I suggest you test drive this one to see what you think. If you use it with only 2 rows (yours and the kids'), you may be able to fit an open stroller. If you use the third row there is NO WAY. The "trunk" is like 1 foot deep if you use the 3rd row. We were looking at this when we car shopped 2 years ago, optimistically thinking we would have a baby in 9 months (ha!). DH is tall, and it was not comfortable for him to sit in the passenger seat for the entire test drive. We ruled it out because of that, and we also understood that you could not put carseats in the 3rd row. I don't know if you have older children, but an adult would have to sqeeze back there. Overall, I think this is fine if you don't intend to use the 3rd row and you or DH are not that tall (my DH is 6'1).
