Strech Marks??

First off I am having b/b twins. I am 20 weeks and am wondering if anyone is getting strech marks yet? If you already have them please tell me when you got them and where. I am nervous and don't want to get them. My Mom only got a few but my sister has 7 that are 2" wide along her belly!! AHHH

stretch marks

Im pregnant with g/g twins and have achived no "new" stretch marks thus far. Im sure i will be blessed with more as i have awful skin. My first pregnancy blessed me with them horribly and i have some that run from hair line to above belly button. They are about 1/2 inch wide...maybe a little less. They never truely went away but did fade from bright purple to skin tone. My suggestion to you is to not itch them......mositurize and use some baby oil in shower. Just consider them a gift as there yours to keep forever

I would pretty much assume that strech marks are inevitable with twins. I did get them with my previous singleton pregnancy but not until the very end around 34 weeks or so. It is a genetic thing mostly, but I wouldn't get your hopes up about avoiding them until it's over.
