Swelling in hands and legs

Hi!

When did you get your swelling in hands and legs?

Mine's started yesterday (15 weeks, 4 days) in my legs. I was having lunch with my mom and she said my feet were swelled up. I looked down and quite surprised to see my feet had swelled up!

Today (15 weeks, 5 days) my hands started to swell up, too. It did go away after I sat down for a while.

Is this normal or should I be worried? I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday.

Feet swelling can be normal (but it's awfully early for you), but you should get your hand swelling checked out. It can be a sign of serious blood pressure issues.

I am not sure if the swelling is from the heat? It has gotten hotter in the last 3 days. It was mentioned in About's swelling in pregnancy page http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/symptoms/a/swelling.htm

Plus I been walking a lot this week. I am not sure if that is reason either.

All my blood pressure tests prior to pregnancy shown I have low blood pressure. My recently doctor's visit at 14 weeks they said I had normal BP.

Hopefully everything is OK.

Did you have swelling? When was your's?

LOL (9 weeks ultrasound) 05/28/09 Doctor said they are really active . (12 weeks ultrasound) 06/03/09 Twins still sitting on top of each other (13 weeks ultrasound) 06/11/09 2 little boys! (14 weeks ultrasound)
