When did you start showing w/ twins

Hi all,
I'm 7w4d pregnant with twins. I'm 156 lbs and 5'5" - curvy, but not overweight. Was wondering when others started showing with twins. I swear I see a little "pouch" starting, but can't tell if it's pizza from last night, or the little ones. Just wondering when most people started showing.

I only mention my size b/c I assume very petite slender people will show sooner (if you have 6-pack abs to begin with you probably notive a pouch sooner).

Thanks in advance

Congratulations on your twins!! How exciting!

I am 5'7 and when I got pregnant with my twins, I was 145 pounds. I started noticing a bit of a belly (though no one else could when I was clothed) at around 12 weeks. By 16-18 weeks, I could no longer hide it from people.

I am also 5'7 and weigh 145! I had a bump around 13-14 weeks and was able to wear my regular clothing still. But, by 16 weeks I had to move to my maternity military uniform. I knew something was up by 15 weeks because a light line, (linea nigra), began running from the top of my stomach all the way down to my pubic bone. I found out that this line is from the belly strecthing and is common in olive to darker skinned women.

I was also told that if this is not your first delivery, you will show sooner.

I 5'4" and was 154 lbs at the time I conceived. I could not hide from people when I was 11-12 weeks. By 16 weeks I looked as if I was 24 weeks pregnant.

Congrats on your double blessing!!

I am currently 30 weeks pg with b/g twins. I had to wear maternity clothes by 10 weeks, but I was not noticeably pg to others until 20 weeks. I don't think anyone even asked me about my pregnancy until around 25 weeks. I am quite a bit heavier than all of you though at 5'10" and around 225lbs. So far at 30 weeks i have only gained a total of 11 lbs. but my belly looks huge at this point. I now have strangers walking up to me to rub my belly.

srdpeach- thank goodness you said that. I am also a bigger girl and I am 10 weeks pg. I have really felt like I am getting bigger. I have gained about 5 lbs already, but I feel bigger in the belly (and boob) region already. These will be my first children, so I don't have the subsequent baby excuse and I was starting to think I was abnormal here!

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone for the responses. I'm now almost 10 weeks, and have been in dresses for weeks now. I bought some "starter" maternity pants, but they are still too loose. Sounds like they'll start fitting sometime in the next month.

I just turned 16 weeks today and am pregnant with twins. I think and many of the ladies I worked with think I look pregnant. But by no means am I huge, just have a bit more rounding to my lower belly and of course starting to spread around as well. But alot of strangers who see me say "wow, are you sure there are two in there" or "wow you are pregnant?" which I find sort of rude - lol. I worry when people say that that something might be wrong with the babies not growing or whatever. I know it is silly to think that, since I have had a ton of ultrasounds and have heard the heartbeats at 13 weeks....I hope I really pop any day now! I guess I just assumed like everyone else, with two babies in there I would be huge by now!!
